Pretty simple function to create a mask to blend anything over a distance. Use it to blend different tiling rates on the same texture to help remove repeating elements. Or use it to blend between colors to help offset distance values that blend into your fog.
There are two of the same functions, one is self contained and can be used in any material to generate a mask to use with a linear interpolate node.
The second is useful if you need two masks in the same material. An parameters setup example is provided for both uses.
